Of course! Artificial greenery is a great option for the plant wall.

That depends on the plant, but most trailing plants like to be watered when the top two inches of soil are completely dry. If you stick your finger into the soil and it comes out clean, it’s probably time to water!

There are a few options when it comes to watering. First, you can use a saucer to catch any extra water that may drip from your plant. Another option is using a pot without a drainage hole.

Our ceramic planters include a drainage hole and optional rubber stopper so you can decide which watering method is best for you! Learn more about drainage here.

Yes! If you can hang a picture you can hang the plant wall. It is easy to assemble and requires minimal experience with tools. Our step-by-step guide includes everything you need to successfully assemble the plant wall. We do recommend building with a friend!

We've provided both standard dry wall anchors and self drilling anchors in the plant wall kit to best suit the tools you have at home. Both options provide ample support for your plant wall and can be used interchangeably.

The standard anchors require a drill and predrilled hole using a drill bit. The self drilling anchors only require a screw driver. The decision is entirely up to you!

Propagating and replanting new growth into your existing plant is the best way to add density to your plant. Check our post here for a step-by-step guide to propagation (trust me, it’s easier than you think!).

We recommend using a planter between 6-9” in diameter. Our hand glazed ceramic planters are 7” in diameter and designed to fit a 6-6.5" standard nursery pot. The contour shape fits seamlessly into the leather plant hanger and they also feature a drainage hole (with an included rubber stopper) to control water flow.

Vegetable tanning is the process of using natural tannins to transform hide into leather. Tannins are made from different part of plants including woods, barks, fruits, fruit pods, and leaves.

Full grain, vegetable tanned leather is the high quality leather available.

Our leather plant hangers are made from the highest quality full grain, vegetable tanned leather. This means they will develop a patina, or oxidize, over time. The plant hangers start out a natural, nude color and develop into a more rich, tan tone with exposure to sunlight, heat, & natural oils.

A plant hanger positioned close to a sunny window will develop a patina more quickly than one without exposure to sunlight.
